    Looks like to me the City of Racine is picking a fight with those who like the idea of Urban Gardens/Farmers Markets. Why cant The City write an ordnance that simple folk understand who are interested in Composting? Why is it that IMHO Farmers Markets are under attack? Earlier in the year I was so hopeful about the food movement. What happened? My thoughts. Why is Milwaukee doing such a better job

    Community Gardening in Racine is under attack! The City of Racine Dept of Development is resisting the idea of the Lincoln-King Neighborhood Garden and Farmers Market. The City of Racine Dept of Development Unsted wants more low income housing as of yesterday 6/3/09 there are 600 homes in foreclosure and landlords are slashing rents to keep apts filled IMHO this is nothing more then insuring this area of Racine stays poor. I am begging for help. What you can do.
