Join your host GreDalin as he discusses second response efforts with Emily Lamberty.  She is coordinating relief efforts with The Fortunate Blessings Foundation.  We will be talking about how you can help out your fellow New Yorkers who are still reeling from the effects of Hurricane Sandy while people have gotten back to their everyday lives.  We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you get into action with the foundation.  This is one way to get on Santa's nice list and help out people in despair.  There's no better feeling and YOU can help them.   See additional info below.

Sat. Dec. 15, Fortunate Blessings Foundation is training volunteers for the "Second Response" Trauma Relief Team. There is still space available if anyone is interested attending the training.

Sun Dec. 16, We are facilitating a playshop for children and first reponders in the Gerrittsen Beach community, one of the areas hit hardest by Sandy. We have developed a simple, body-centered, and proven therapeutic approach to help prevent and resolve PTSD.  Our methods have been applied cross-culturally to American, Palestinian, Sri Lankan, Israeli, Thai, Indonesian and Chinese students with equal success.
