Special Guest Tim Hoyt has had a lifelong interest in how images can affect individuals and groups of people. He will talk about how photo or video captured becomes a story that individuals can share with their friends on social media outlets. For charities and causes, the story usually revolves around an individual’s statement of support.

NOTE to listeners: The episode takes 30 seconds to begin.

Since graduating from Brown University, Tim Hoyt has started various businesses. But his main focus for the last 15 years has been on how person-to-person Internet photo sharing can be emotionally powerful. His first patent was granted on July 4, 2000 and titled “Internet Photo Booth”. He is currently co-founder and CTO of Picture Marketing, Inc. A selection of the organizations they have worked with include: Amnesty International, Human Rights Campaign, March of Dimes, Susan G. Komen and events like the Baron’s Ball and Stiletto Strut for the American Cancer Society.  Website: http://picturemarketing.com
