Ig Nobel Prize

It’s that time! The Nobel Prizes are about to be announced. Not to be out done, in Boston, the Ig Nobel contestants have already been announced for science and research that goes beyond stretching the limits of human understanding and enters the zone of human folly – This year’s contestants: remote sampling of whale snot; reducing asthma symptoms with a roller coaster; using slime to create a rail system; wearing socks outside of boots; swearing to reduce pain (this one we knew about); people who take dangerous work home; oil and water DO NOT mix; promoting people at random is more efficient that any organizational system (a personal favorite); fellatio is important for fruit bat mating (only fruit bats?); and, squirrel masturbation.
