Saturday night, my girlfriend and I had a heart to heart conversation. Mostly, it was me venting some frustrations about life and her listening and chiming in when she could. Then she dropped a bomb-shell on me that really made me think. She said that I quit things when they get too difficult. Upon hearing this, I didn't know whether to get offended, get angry, or clap back with some witty remark. I chose to do neither of those. Instead, I pondered what she said and eventaully agreed with her. I do quit things when they get too difficult. Football, med school, relationships, and various other things. Then I thought, if I do this, what about others? Do other people quit difficult things as well? The answer is, probably. So, let's have a discusssion shall we? Let's see where we can go with this.
