WHO'S GOT THE BIGGEST BALLS OF THEM ALL?

Our balls are always forming to the left and to the right..'cause they don't want to be on the plate tonight!  Not quite the AC/DC song of the 80's ...but these bait balls sure make themselves big.  Did you ever wonder why? Did you ever wonder which balls to pick over the others to fish from?  Are all bait balls good for sportfishing?  Is there particular balls to look for in fishing for a particular fish?  Are the balls in any depth of water?
