Steve Ward of VH1's Tough Love

Steve Ward is one of America’s most successful matchmakers. He is a love coach, dating guide and relationship expert as well, but he is also the executive producer, host and star of VH1’s “Tough Love,” and “Tough Love Couples” a franchise that gives both a rare inside look into the male perspective on dating as well as a stark, no nonsense assessment of relationships from beginning to end. Steve, along with the help of his mom and business partner, JoAnn Ward, the original “Master Matchmaker”, attempts to change the “destructive” dating habits of the women they invite onto Tough Love as well as the relationship ineptitudes of their Tough Love Couples. Steve has been immersed in the dating game since he can remember. His mom was professionally matchmaking before he was in grade school. After graduating from Drexel University he joined his mom to grow Master Matchmakers into one of the largest and most successful matchmaking services in the United States. With hundreds of marriages to their credit, Steve and JoAnn have over 3,500 clients throughout the country and are planning to expand their core business internationally around the distribution of their TV shows. Steve and JoAnn are about to begin production on the fourth cycle of the Tough Love while they continue to develop more and more product and service offerings to the many lovelorn men and women that exist around the world.
