  Karl Rove, I Love You

  Actor/Director Phil Leirness talks about his film "Karl Rove, I Love You". It's Election Year during the Bush Administration. Dan Butler (Bulldog from TV's Frasier) is co-starring on Broadway with Alec Baldwin in Twentieth Century. Butler reluctantly agrees to participate in a documentary on the unknown supporting actor when he becomes smitten with the role of a lifetime: Karl Rove (Bush's notorious advisor). Butler plans a stage show that will expose Rove as the architect behind a campaign of fear and divisiveness, a show that will appall the electorate and ensure a victory for John Kerry! Unfortunately, an actor can't judge the character he's playing. No one sees themselves as a villain. So Butler sets out to discover the Karl Rove inside us all. But the more he sees the world through Rove's eyes, the more Butler's friends and associates find themselves worried about his well-being. And when Butler finds himself falling in love with Rove, truly scary events begin to occur...   Meditate and Destroy

  Sarah Fisher director/producer of the cult feature documentary hit "Meditate and Destroy" will talk about her film's release on DVD. Sarah is the founder of Blue Lotus Films (http://www.bluelotusfilms.net/home). She has worked at MTV News, the U.S. Information Agency, C-SPAN, CBSNews.com, and A&E Television Networks Interactive. She also worked on the Dreamworks film, "Just Like Heaven," starring Mark Ruffalo and Reese Witherspoon in San Francisco. The DVD for "Meditate and Destroy" includes 1 hour of bonus features (including extended live performances by Good Riddance and Bold, deleted scenes, and much more!).   Karma is defined as the concept of "action" or "deed" in Hinduism, which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect (i.e., the cycle called saṃsāra) originating in ancient India and treated in Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhist philosophies.
  
  In these systems, the effects of all deeds are viewed as actively shaping past, present, and future experiences. The results or 'fruits' of actions are called karma-phala.
