Next week, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has it's annual trade show in Las Vegas, with thousands of participants invading the convention center. As a single or multi-unit retail business owner/tenant, how does this event and organization affect you? When you hear ICSC, does it conjure up images of the Accounting Department in the Dilbert comic strip; a group of trolls in the dungeon who hold all the power and enforce arbitrary rules striking fear and mayhem into the masses? Or is it more; is it an organization you should be aware of and consider membership in? In today's program, Bob (seasoned ICSC member) and Jerry (uninformed tenant) discuss ICSC, what the organization can and can't do for you, the business owner. Will what goes on in Vegas stay in Vegas?
