We recently received a mailing from the Corporate Regulatory Committee indicating we needed to file our corporate annual report; all we needed to do was fill in the enclosed form and send them $238! Some companies are misleading (S.C.A.M) .... although the letter looked somewhat official and had a return address in the state capitol of Salem, Oregon, closer review showed some of the broken English and misspellings typical of an email promising you a cut of the pie to help Prince YaddaYadda get his fortune out of Nigeria! Yes, there are scams directed specifically at the uninformed business owner; the elderly are not the only targets. Listen in as Bob and Jerry share examples of business scamming attempts through all imaginable means; email, regular mail and the slick salesman walking in the door.
