We've all heard that all is fair in love and war but what about taxes? What is the Main Street Fairness Act and should consumers care? For years, trade organizations and state governments have tried to impose local sales tax on Internet sellers in order to "level the playing field". It now appears that the latest version of the bill, submitted on July 29th, has a fighting chance to get through, in no small part thanks to the support of the 800 pound gorilla that is Amazon.com. So why is Amazon behind this version and what will it mean to small business? Will administration costs kill the mom-and-pop online seller? Listen in as Bob and Jerry extend the conversion that began in the October 13th episode regarding the success of Amazon.
