Faith Must be of the Heart, not of the Head

Proverbs 3:5-6; "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Mental Assent recognizes the truthfulness of the Word, but does not act on it, Mental Aseent sees the truth, admires the truth, and says it is the truth, but not in my case. Mental Assent is agreement in the mind, but not in the heart. It is all talk and not walk.
