Take Back America - God's Way! Human Trafficking episode 2

The problem of human trafficking in America beyond the scope of our ability to fully comprehend. Much public awareness is needed if we are going to make a dent in this issue. On the last show we interviewed people that are closely connected with ministries and organizations that are dedicated to helping these young women and children who have been taken against their will and live in fear and torment daily. We interviewed a young women who lived the torment of being trafficked from her own home as a child into adulthood. Every day women and children are being kidnapped and sold. The numbers are staggering. What if that was our sister, our daughter, our neighbor... or if you are a young woman... what if that was you? Although less common, boys are also taken for trafficking. We can and should be aware of the dangers and the safeguards. We need to know what the traffickers tricks are to get people in a vulnerable place. We need public awareness in our churches and schools. If we recognize the signs of trafficking, we will know what we are seeing when we come across it and might be able to be instrumental in rescuing someone. We have the opportunity as Christians to make a difference. Whether it is giving our time, giving our money or fervently praying, we CAN make a difference.
