  Known by friends & family by his middle name "Donnell", Isaiah D. Thomas is a native Washingtonian and the proud son of Elder Isiah Thomas of Bible Way Temple of Our Lord Jesus Christ World-Wide. Donnell became involved in music at a very young age. He began playing for noonday services at Bible Way Temple then accelerated to playing for Joy Fellowship - a youth choir at Bible Way Temple, and became the Minister of Music at Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church. Isaiah has studied under Mr. Alpheus Gatlin, Director of the Howard University Gospel Choir and the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Isaiah now serves as Minister of Music for New Samaritan Baptist Church in Washington DC, as well as the Contemporary Director of the BET Urban Nation H.I.P H.O.P Choir. Isaiah wants people to understand that there is no such thing as wicked notes or sinful sounds and that any sound, beat, or style of music can communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ. The evil part comes in how the music is presented and who is presenting the music.
  
  Isaiah enjoys telling everyone that he encounters about the goodness of the Lord and how to overcome diabetes through good health, faith and powerful music that motivates! He trabels extensively throughout the nation conducting praise & Worship Seminars. While maintaining a hectic touring schedule, he also runs his own production company. With production and songwriting credits that include a #1 hit song currently on the Billboard Charts - 2007 Stellar Award Winner Song of the Year "I Will Bless The Lord" by Byron Cage, his credits also include 2006 Stellar Award nominated Traditional Song of the Year "Run and Tell That" by Bishop Michael V. Kelsey and The BDBC Mass Choir, "Still Here" by The Williams Brothers, "Live in Memphis" by Dottie Peoples, and "Many Roads" by Gladys Knight. His music is scripturally based, soul stirring, and inspiring - Isaiah is creme de la creme. He has also worked with gospel & McClurkin, DC's own Chuck Brown and E.U. featuring Sugar Bear just to name a few. His magnetic personality, combined with his zeal for the Lord and the music ministry, enables others to enjoy and understand the meaning of praise & worship. Isaiah and his wife Shalaundia reside in the Washington DC, metro area and have three sons: DJ, Gabe, and Michael.
  
  
  Isaiah D. Thomas & E.O.P. - History
  
  In 1993 Isaiah & the Cornerstone PBBC Mass Choir released their first album with the hit release "High in All the Earth". The second release entitled "It's Time To Praise The Lord" included such hits as "Great Jehovah God", "Jesus Can Work It Out", and "Be Transformed". In September of 1998, God placed upon the heart of Isaiah to form a group whose sole purpose is to minister the Gospel through song. He named the group Elements of Praise also known as "E.O.P" - which symbolizes the power of praise. Isaiah believes that through praise yokes are destroyed, captives are set free, and shackles are broken. God has enormously blessed this endeavor and has allowed them to minister with artists such as Bruce Parham, James Hall, Deitrick Hadden, Dawkins & Dawkins, and many other. EOP is currently working on their 3rd album. With the national release of their "Live! Pt.1 Special Edition" cd project coming to a retail store near you, Isaiah D. Thomas & Elements of Praise are on their way to achieving great things for the Kingdom of God!
