Where is God in this troubled world?

Genocide, gendercide, wars, poverty, disease, famine, earthquakes, etc. all mar the landscape of our existence. If God is all-powerful, and God is good, then where is He in the midst of tragedy? Why does He allow it? Is He perhaps the instigator?

When we look at the wreckage and carnage around the globe and in our neighborhoods and homes, it is natural to ask, “Where is God?” Or we might ask, “Why, God?”
