How to be a narrow-minded Christian

"Awe, you're narrow-minded!" is an epithet many a person would rather not hear. It brings with it the notion that our thinking is too shallow and uninformed and even misguided.  But is being "narrow-minded" a bad thing?  Timothy Luke doesn't think so, if our mind is narrowed in on the right thing!

"Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it," Jesus tells his disciples in Matthew 7:14. The way of Christ demands narrow mindedness...  In modern terms we call this, "focus."  Just as running a race, or preparing for an exam demands focus so, even more, running the race and preparing for eternal life demands our narrow minded, undivided attention!
