Gluten-free expert, author, coach and advocate Jules Shepard hosts a weekly show offering news, interviews with intriguing guests, gluten-free baking tips and otherwise lively conversation.
Rachel Begun joins Jules again, in honor of Celiac Awareness Month. Rachel is a registered dietitian nutritionist living with celiac disease and is a national spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, a Scientific/Medical Advisory Board Member for the NFCA and a visiting instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. She is regularly interviewed on the GF diet by major news media, including ABC News, Fox News, USA Today, The Huffington Post, U.S. News & World Report and O The Oprah Magazine.
Jules and Rachel will discuss the pervasive perception that gluten-free is a "fad" for all but those diagnosed with celiac disease. They will also define the diagnosis of Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity and how that diagnosis is given, and may be determined differently in the very near future.
