It's been a few weeks since the NBA trade deadline, and we're here to take the pulse as to which teams came away the biggest winners. Also, teams are kicking it into high gear as they make their push for the playoffs, and we'll be making out predictions for which 8 teams in each conference will be making the postseason, and who will be on the outside looking in with their feelings hurt. Let's break it down!

NBA All Star weekend is here! It's the basketball event where all the biggest NBA stars shine the brightest. The Commish and Kplus are here to make sure you know exactly what to watch for. We'll evaluate the final rosters for the East and West teams.We'll be breaking down the Rookies vs. Sophomores game and making predictions on the rest of the weekend's activities including the Slam-Dunk Contest and who will be the All-Star Game's MVP! We will also take some time to reflect on the first half of the season and we'll let you know what surprised us the most. Rap music has captivated the hearts and minds of people throughout the globe. It has changed culture in the way of dance, art, language, religion, politics etc. However, within rap music there is a sub genre called Gangster Rap. Gangter Rap is characterized by profane lyrics that focus on exploitation of women, violence, and drugs. Advocates of this type of music say that they are just reporting on the harsh realities that many face throughout the inner cities of America. On January 20th,2009 President-Elect Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. This will mark the first time in the nation's history that someone other than a Caucasian Male will lead this country in the capacity of President. What makes this event even more compelling is that in light of the tenuous and horrific history of racial tension in this country, a black man, Barack Obama, was elected President by a majority of voters.
