The Real Interfaith Dialogue

Problems with the Quran Part II. Last week we examined only a few problems with the Quran. We looked at some of the insertions from the Jewish Talmud, Gnostic writings, and Syriac Folklore that Muhammad borrowed and passed off as divine revelation. We also drilled down on a contradiction found in Surah 7:150-159.

This week we will continue to look at additional contradictions along with, what I feel is slam dunk evidence that the Quran is not anything close to being divine; Anachronisms. Muhammad has so many people, places, and things out of historical order that it is easy for anyone who approaches a critical examination of the Quran objectively to determine that he was simply making it up. Luckily for him, he lived among an illiterate people with a predominantly oral tradition. This would make it difficult to challenge what he was saying. The Jews knew better and rejected him. The Christians too. We are going to be examining evidence today that should lead all of us to reject him too.
