The film is introduced by former Secretary of State Colin Powell, hosted on camera by Halle Berry, and narrated by Avery Brooks with readings by Morgan Freeman, Mel Gibson, Ossie Davis, Robert Duvall, Danny Glover, Angela Bassett and others. The theme of the film, the price of liberty, is relevant to all Americans. The film will air nationwide on PBS in February 2010.
