Show Choir! is a melodious mockumentary told through the framework of a music biography television show entitled “Beyond the Façade.” Through interviews and flashbacks we follow the journey of a high school show choir, The Symphonic Sensations as they go from humble beginnings to America’s biggest pop phenomenon.  

Show Choir! has been developing in New York City since 2006 through a series of staged readings, an award winning production at the 2007 New York International Fringe Festival and a successful production at the 2010 New York Musical Theatre Festival which sold out weeks in advance prompting NYMF to add two additional performances. In addition, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland presented a critically acclaimed production at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which was selected as one of the top ten musicals to see at the Fringe. Furthermore, this past spring 2012 The American Conservatory Theatre - San Francisco presented the West Coast Premiere of Show Choir! with their young conservatory program.
