Two strangers meet beside a well on a hot afternoon. One was a man the other was a woman. We don't know the name of the woman but the man was Jesus. Well- A deep hole, a watering place, a place where water issues from the earth. a fontain, a container, a vessel. The woman at the well. A woman with a past, a daughter with a promise. Is this you? Are you an empty well needing to be filled? Are there deep holes in your life that have caused you to sink low? Have the issues of your past and present situations become your identity? Are you tired of wearing the masks and being a cover girl hidden beneath the covers, the weight of false identitiy? Aren't you tired of trying to fill your holes, your wells, with relationship after relationship, with addictions, shopping malls, greed and all of these other stones that we're placing in our wells, our holes? Those things are heavy, they are weighty and Jesus is able to carry what you were never meant to contain. When our masks meets the Messiah the manifestation of transformation takes place. When the identity of Christ shows up in your issue expect change. This woman at the well had a well issue. She was dry, void, an impotent of life. She had the motions without the Messiah.Maybe your well is void of peace, impotent of joy, barren of wholene caused you to look for validation in relationships that's deformed your identity.  Whatever well, suken, hole place you're in,Jesus is able to meet you where you are.. He's able to take a woman with a past and transform her into a daughter with a promise.Sometimes we fail to realize that we are thirsty because we keep adding additives and artificial sweeteners to give us a FIX instead of truly being FILLED. I didn't realize how empty, void, and impotent I was until the LORD revealed my holes. So many holes plugged up with artificial things that gave me happiness yet robbed me of joy. I thank the Lord for taking my holes and making me whole.
