Fashion designer and stylist Korto Momolu (pronounced Cut • Toe – Mo • Mo • Lu) goes frequently without being unnoticed; from her trademark hair style, diverse line of clothing and her sharp eye for cutting edge trends. She has gone on to capture the praise and attention from many of the Who's Who in the fashion industry as well as capturing the hearts of thousands of Americans as a fan favorite on Season 5 of Bravo’s hit reality show Project Runway. Korto Momolu is definitely on the right path to establish herself as a fashion icon. Korto most recently stole the show at BET's Rip the Runway as she debuted her Fall 2009 collection! As celebrities and models alike paraded down the runway in her uberfabulous rompers and her uberglamerific maxi dresses we could literally sense fashionistas all over doing whatever they could to step up there bank in anticipation the Fall 2009 release of Korto's Collection. With new R&B sensation The Dream performing his breakout single from his Sophmore album “Rocking that Thang” there couldn't be a more perfect fashion and music collabo and it was quite possibly the most amazing ecclectic mix of the two of all time. Korto Momolu has also created a collection of designs in honor of President Barack Obama’s Inauguration and entitled it “The Korto Momolu -Yes We Can Inaugural Collection.” The designs were unveiled at the International Inaugural Ball in Washington, DC. Korto Momolu’s publication credits include MTV Style, E Online, Essence, LA Times, African Vibes, Ladybrille, NY Daily News, Global Woman Magazine, The Huffington Post, InStyle.com, Jamati Online.com and now she's going to chat it up with the lovely hosts of Glam R Us Radio as she walks us through her past, present, and future.
