The Link Between HPV and Oral Cancer

Dr. Roark stays current on research, treatment protocols, techniques and trends in dentistry through regular participation in continuing education programs and completed advanced training in dental implants, endodontics, lasers, aesthetic dentistry and reconstructive dentistry. 

 

Dr. Roark began her clinical practice 11 years ago in Massachusetts where she was in solo practice.  She joined Coast Dental in 2004 as a practicing dentist in Florida; later moving to a Coast practice in Georgia.  While in Georgia, she was tapped by Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, to leverage her Coast Dental experience to lay the groundwork for the University’s first group practice residency program.  She did so while maintaining a full-time clinical practice as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.   

 

Dr. Roark returned to Coast Dental to practice in Tampa and assume her current role where she is responsible for clinical education, quality assurance and evaluating new technologies and protocols.
