Ruth’s book Smiley Book of Colors was published released by Random House earlier this year & is just a small piece of her bigger project ~ to spread a little optimism through embracing the joyful and the silly in daily life.

Ruth’s photography project SpontaneousSmiley.com is a joyful place where people from all over the world share Smiley Faces they find in everyday objects. This enthusiastic community has raised funds for 25 children to receive free surgeries for facial deformities through a partnership with Operation Smile.

We are thrilled that Ruth is joining us less than 24 hours after arriving back in the US, from a 12-day medical mission to Paraguay, where 128 children received new smiles!
