One of the key things that most agents fail to recognize is that we need to always put the client or customer first. Once we remember this, our success will follow. In this broadcast we will be interviewing Mary Gibbins. Let me take a moment and tell you about Mary. Mary began her real estate career in 1991 and quickly became one of the top agents in her market area. The 1st thing she did was get involved with the Association of Realtors and joined committees that she was interested. She took the lead in her caravan / marketing activities and this allowed her to network with her fellow realtors. At the time she started, the Realtor Associate was not a voting member of the association and she was concerned about that so she began a campaign to allow the Realtor Associates the right to vote on Association issues. Within a short time the association voting members actually voted on this issue and the election gave a favorable results. Because of Mary’s actions and this vote the Realtor Associates of her market area has equal voting rights.
In 1994, because of her activities with the association Mary was honored with the Realtor Associate of the Year by her fellow Realtors. In 1995 – 1996, Mary was on the #1 Team of Florida and the #6 Team of the United States within the ERA Franchise. What allowed her to reach this success is what we are going to talk about in this broadcast. The topic is “Success in Real Estate through relationship building”.
