Alma was born on September 10th 1981, between 8:00 P.M. and 8:15P.M. in Zambia. Her mother was in labor for approximately 30 minutes. Gas lamps were used in the hospital because the use of electrical lighting was prohibited after dark. The reason for this was because at the time, there were war issues in Zambia and civilians had to do their best to stay safe. She grew up with many different religious and cultural influences. And though she was happy in her diverse family, the image of it was not always excepted by other people. However, despite other people's negative view points, Alma never felt detained from expressing the beauty of the human family as a connected creation. Making connections is what she does. She says "I can't not do it and because of that, I'm able to help so many people at once." Alma draws her knowledge from her experiences in this life, as well as her past lives. She believes that we are a species that communicates with all living things on a conscious and subconscious level. She also believes that among many other curious aspects of the human state of being, mankind is an intuitive species capable of applying a multitude of perceptions to this any physical environment. "The initial door to intuition and any kind of knowledge or metaphysical structure is sensitivity! Information of any kind cannot be absorbed unless the host provides a passageway for the particular current. So if you have to cry, do it! And smile because you may actually realize that your issues are not greater than you!" -Alma Alma's mother is Tanzanian and her father is American Indian, Black and Scottish. When she was 2 years old, Alma's parents moved her along with her brothers to Cincinnati, OH. After her parents split, Alma's mother moved the family to New York.
