Show Notes

GRI conducts investigations based on scientific method and investigation techniques. Here on our show, we discuss local haunts, cases we've been fortunate to be on and to often feature other groups who have much to teach and share from their wealth of experience. Our goal is to bring science and even a bit of enjoyment (code word for FUN!) to our investigations. Science is not always the explanation for what we encounter, but using it to explore these topics is the best way to the truth in our opinion. Part of the process of exploring haunts, the paranormal and the spirit world is to learn a bit of the history and reason *why* we see paranormal events at various locations. We teach history as well as science in our frequent field missions. Join us weekly as we feature guests from all over the United States!

    Ad Hoc show notes

    The Ad-Hoc Show of March 15'th

    Appreciated all of you who dropped in last night when I ran some live tests of our new sound board and Skype broadcast system. As you could tell, it needs some adjustment, so I am making some changes in response to the great feedback from all of you who helped me evaluate what was happening - I was figuring the first time would flop and was not dissapointed!

    We've ordered a new USB interface that will hook the mixer through the PC and will make a few changes in our basic procedures to improve things. On the good side, when the system was working properly, the sound quality was awesome and so we're on the right track! I compared the difference between the phone versus Skype and it was like night and day when the sound did work! We'll get this figured yet! Look out - we'll be able to play EVPs right from the studio and control the audio far better!

    Private Investigation in Pilot Hill on March 21'st

    GRI will be on a private investigation next Saturday, so we'll be broadcasting on Sunday instead. We'll broadcast using our tried and true method so we don't put you through this during one of our normally planned shows, but we do plan to do one more "ad-hoc" show sometime around mid-week next week to test our new configuration. I promise to have a neat show arranged for that so we talk about something interesting and to take calls from you as we evaluate the new setup.

    Spiritual Quilt Radio

    GRI is an invited guest on Spiritual Quilt radio here on BlogTalkRadio! The show is scheduled for 1:00pm on April 2'nd and we'll be calling in to share some of our best EVPs  and to be interviewed by Cathy and Quintin who run that very nice show! We're very proud to be invited to the show!
