Equities markets spike today on the latest housing report & earnings, commodities markets mixed (Gold & Silver with gains), the rest of today's show will be dedicated to the Internet movement against SOPA, PIPA and its variants. Today was the day that the people virtually protested against U.S. legislation that would have given government the authority to regulate the Internet. Google Inc., Wikipedia , Craigslist , Mozilla, Reddit and many other Internet companies joined our fight against SOPA/PIPA and "blacked out" their websites in protest.
Because of today's virtual protests and flood of Tweets, E-mails, messages, phone calls, etc to these bureaucrats in Washington D.C., many of the political supporters of this legislation have now backed-off their vigorous support for this bill. Today is a day that will go down in Internet history! But its just the beginning, because the citizens of the Internet will continue the never ending fight to keep this fiber-optic world free from any and all regulation, oversight and/or censorship. Ghost will never forget this day...
