It's fair to say I'm in awe of Brenda Drake, because she does so much more than her modest description below. She hosts numerous contests in hopes of encouraging aspiring authors to get literary agents, constantly promotes other authors, and is one of the most genuine people I know. It is going to be a true privilege to interview someone who believes in helping others to the extent Brenda does. I absolutely recommend following her on Twitter @brendadrake, and you should absolutely, positively follow her blog for the invaluable assistance she gives to aspiring and published authors. http://brenleedrake.blogspot.com/

Brenda Drake, the youngest of three children, grew up an Air-force brat and the continual new kid at school until her family settled in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Brenda’s fondest memory growing up is that of her eccentric, Irish grandmother’s animated tall tales, which gave her a strong love for storytelling. So it was only fitting that she would choose to write young adult and middle grade novels with a bend toward the fantastical. When Brenda’s not writing or doing the social media thing, she’s haunting bookstores and coffee shops or reading someplace quiet and not at all exotic (much to her disappoint).
