The church gave, the church fed and the church supported the community with health care. Three key factors in keeping a community safe. Security, feeding and healthy. The church gave us a sense of security, a sense of caring and a sense of being there for the community in time of need. I believe the Black church still support these values but in a different way. I’ll keep my opinion to myself. I will say this if the church took more of an active role in health care and feeding the community everything else will fall into place. More blacks are moving towards the non-traditional churches because they preach about the fruits, the rewards of serving God. The Black Church was built on the preaching fear of God, the punishment and the fires of hell. I believe this religious dialog has made black people step back and look at the situation and they have concluded that if God is going to punish us, the devils is setting us up to be punish why should I serve a God that lets us go through this. Black people need the black church for one reason so they can educate the black church on the values of truth and trust. The values of looking at their dialog, the values of bringing people into the house of worship and share God’s love on no terms. The black community has to be open to the fact that they cannot blame the church for the crime, murders, and homelessness. We should look at the Black church as a place of worship, sanctuary and community support. I’m not a supporter of non-denominational churches nor am I a support of Mega churches. I support any church that preaches about the goodness of living right and serving God in a way that encourages us to change. 00:29:00Get The Black Mind RightnoBlack Church,Black Church and Politics,Black Community Issues, community,GhettoGet Back To The BasicNo more 9 to 5http://www.blogtalkradio.com/gettheblackmindright/2017/07/17/no-more-9-to-5Current Eventshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/gettheblackmindright/2017/07/17/no-more-9-to-5/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/gettheblackmindright/2017/07/17/no-more-9-to-5Mon, 17 Jul 2017 22:30:00 GMTNo more 9 to 5Kyle Suggs Business Developer ? Though she has only lived in North Carolina for six months, her work in the community is already being widely recognized.  Anne was recently featured as an inspiring story in a segment on NBC Charlotte News.  She was also recently featured in an article in Carolina STYLE Magazine for her most recent event honoring Charlotte's Inspirational Moms in her own fun twist on the Fashion Show concept called, 'SuperMoms Fashion Show,' benefiting the Shelter for Battered Women. This is ONLY the beginning of Anne Hill's Mom-empowerment journey and she has great plans to expand her Foundation, in hopes to one day tour the country with her powerful 'WE ARE SUPERMOMS' movement. -Featured on NBC News (watch video here): www.WeAreSuperMoms.com     00:26:00Get The Black Mind RightnoWomen,Domestic Violence Awareness, children,Family,EducationTragedy Into A Mission Of Helping And Saving Lives. The Real Truth Behind Hip Hophttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/gettheblackmindright/2017/05/26/the-real-truth-behind-hip-hopCurrent Eventshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/gettheblackmindright/2017/05/26/the-real-truth-behind-hip-hop/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/gettheblackmindright/2017/05/26/the-real-truth-behind-hip-hopFri, 26 May 2017 22:30:00 GMTThe Real Truth Behind Hip HopMichael Bookers gives us an introspective look on how hip hop has changed the American landscape. You must be out of your mind. You better off getting on a boat go over seas a make a quick million for one season if you play basketball or baseball. If you are a Football player two years walk on then go pro. You are not listening because you think I'm hating. I am hating on a contract that's probably the worse in all of sports. Three  reasons on why parents should not let their kids accept any scholarship if they are one of the top 20 athletes in their sport. 1, they should walk on or get financial aid 2, singing a scholarship allows the school to market your son and profit off of his worth 3, Being a walk on and paying your own tuition you have the right to hold autograph session, sell your own merchandise, open and run a business and negotiate with any apparel  business of your choosing. 00:25:00Get The Black Mind Rightnosports, education, money, black communityThe Worse Contract in Sports
