Jamie’s intention was never to start a worldwide movement- it was to help a friend.
What started as a small support group for a friend suffering from depression and addiction, quickly launched into the prominent non-profit organization, To Write Love On Her Arms. To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
TWLOHA has been featured in USA Today, Teen Vogue Magazine, Seventeen.com, MTV Buzzworthy, NBC Nightly News, CBS News Sunday Morning, CNN.com, MSNBC.com, Newsday, Florida Today, The NonProfit Times, Rolling Stone.
