“La da dee, la da da....” 90's dance diva Crystal Waters is at it again. After selling millions of her international hits “Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)” and “100% Pure Love,” she's dancing her way back into our hearts. Today on BOLD, LeGrande Green interviews the singer-songwriter about the secrets of her massive success.
“I've been blessed to make a difference, and travel the world doing what I love,” she says. Before she followed her heart, Crystal was issuing warrants at a DC parole office. A series of fortuitous events led her into a recording studio. “I wrote 'Gypsy Woman' for someone else but the producers insisted I sing it myself.” The rest is pop music history.
Today she presents her 20th year anniversary version of “100% Pure Love”, remixed and remastered by Armand Pena. Her site is www.iamcrystalwaters.com. Join the conversation at www.getboldtoday.com.
