It all starts with the leadership. I've heard a lot of people say how much they love their pastor. Generally women are the ones who say this. Well I'm a man, and I don't love my pastor like that. Shoooot! I loooooove my wife and adore my children. I will never say to an audience that I love my pastor. It doesn't mean that I don't, however.

How often does your pastor allow others who have the spirit of God in them to address the congregation with what God has laid on their minds and hearts while he is present? Does he make statements declaring what the real solution or answer is to things that may differ from what others say or think? Does he spend time developing and training others? Does he make room for others to operate in their giftedness and purpose, or does he call the shots?
