State of the Industry Part 2: 2011 Year in Music Review

2011 has been an eventful year for many artists including Drake, Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Common, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mills, and more. Last year, we shook things up with VA rapper and songwriter Skillz, producers Baby Paul and DJ Statik Selektah, and eOne Music’s Gazelle as they sounded off on 2010’s year in music.

Well the roundtable discussion continues as my guests offer perspectives from the DJ, independent label, and artist standpoints on how music fared all year. DJ Master Millions, Haj Euro (consultant for eOne Music), and singer/songwriter Shaliek Rivers weigh in on some of the best and worst moments of 2011.
