The Saturday August 13th, 2011 Iowa Republican GOP Presidential Candidacy's Straw Poll ended with Michele Bachmann garnering the most votes and Tim Pawlenty throwing in the towel.

Sometimes during all the Barbeque eating, flesh pumping, and baby kissing that was taking place at that Iowa carnival like gala, in the key state of New Hampshire, Texas Governor Rick Perry announced his bid for the Presidential Candidacy for 2012.

What does the Iowa Straw Poll victory mean for Bachmann? Also a Straw Poll primer, how they work and how a candidate can possibly manipulate the votes as some bloggers suggest  may have been the case Saturday.

What Rick Perry has that Barack Obama doesn't that maybe a trump card for Perry.

President Obama is relentlessly hounded by  the state of the economy and the escalated unemployment rate. Bachmann, Perry, Paul, Santorum Caine, Romney, and the rest of the GOP posse plan to ride into Washington in 2012 using this as their main source of political ammunition. Some analysis say the only way out of this one for Obama is an economical miracle. Will he get one?
