Researcher and author Bruce Bagemihl's book Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity submits that homosexual behavior, not necessarily sex, has been observed in close to 1500 species of animals, ranging from primates to gut worms, and is well documented for 500 of them. There a documented cases of same sex animals hatching eggs, corralling and raising orphaned offspring together. On this episode of The Horizon we raise the question again. Can animals be gay? Or is it natural instinctive animal behavior that is being incorrectly tagged. We'll talk about it and what you shouldn't buy before Christmas because you'll save going after it after Christmas. Join Geo & Momo for what is sure to be a spirited, enlightening, and in-depth discussion.
