Do you ever wrestle with what to do when your experience of the Divine clashes with the views of your culture or family upbringing? Join your host Geoff Laughton as he talks with Bill Wilder, M.Div., M.A., LPC. Bill was on the path to becoming an Evangelical minister when his experience of God began to contradict with some of the fundamental assumptions of the evangelical tradition. In Bill’s quest for answers, he came across the Internal Family Systems model, which served as a bridge to learning to begin to trust his own intuition instead of looking exclusively to external sources for answers. Bill will be sharing about his journey from the evangelical ministry path to his current role as a therapist in Boulder, Colorado, working with Individuals, Couples, and Groups.
