Generous Hope

Our friend Joe Carmichael has been serving the Lord for over 40 years in fulltime ministry. In that time, he has learned much and can share some experiences in regard to generosity, including why and how it has changed. Joe was born in Enterprise, Alabama, the only town in the world that has a monument glorifying an insect! Right there in the middle of the town is the Boll Weevil Monument - that's a story you'll have to get him to tell you. Over the years, Joe has served several United Methodist churches. In 1998, Joe and his wife Pam were assigned to the Mansfield area to plant a church that would become known as Community of Hope. His passion is to create a culturally relevant bridge that invites people to walk across and follow Christ. His animated preaching style will have you laughing as you consider the life that Christ offers.
