Mike and Tom meet up with Capt. Guy Cruthers (Ret) about his road to forgiveness after 5 years in the infamous Hanoi Hilton:

From The Show: I was on the wrong side and what happens when you get on the wrong side like that what happened to me was, you start getting suggestions as to how you can kill yourself. That’s when I finally said, “I obviously am not … I can’t handle it.” I tried to stop hating on my own. I couldn’t. that’s when  I got on my knees literally for hours a day and after three months, it took three months where I could form even in my mind the words “Lord I forgive them” but I didn’t mean the words. After six months, I meant the words and I was honestly praying for these interrogators and torturers. I really I had been turned around. Only his grace and I mentioned I couldn’t do it on my own. It was only after I prayed a lot that I was able to pray for these people to love them rather hate them.

His story of God's generosity through him is amazing!!
