Two favorite guests of the listeners of The G-ZONE: Big Daddy Abel & John F. Reed are on the show discussing their book and novel respectively!

 

Here is a little info on each-

BDA:

Big Daddy Abel is a singer/entertainer who performs with the popular North Eastern U.S. party band The Amish Outlaws. (Yes, AMISH Outlaws.You're invited to go to the band website and read this: www.amishoutlaws.com/about.html

Abel is a former school teacher, former chemist and has worked in the entertainment field from a very young age. Having started in music playing trumpet at the age of 4, he picked up on guitar at 15 and began singing at 19 and was classically trained to sing opera.

BDA entered the acting world in 2000 and has worked on such TV shows as HBO's OZ (for 4 seasons), Law & Order, Guiding Light, As the World Turns and such movies as School of Rock, Shaft, 2 Weeks Notice and many others.

John F. Reed:

John is a Boston based book author, music journalist, and club DJ.

He is the author of the new book, "Another Lousy Day in Paradise"

John is a long-time music journalist and had been a Correspondent at the Boston Globe newspaper for many years. His music and DVD reviews are and have been published in many national publications.

John has also been a Nightclub DJ for many years in Boston and is known as "Böston's Bad Böy DJ"©. He has performed at some of the hottest nightclubs on Lansdowne Street, the Financial District, Commonwealth Ave.
