The pulps of the early 20th centruy defined many of the tropes of modern heroic fiction. Whether you are reading a comic book, reading a James Patterson novel, or watching a Joss Whedon action/adventure television show, the pulps were an influence. But the pulps weren't merely influential, they are alive and well and inspiring new generations of creators. How has the "pulp" survived and how will it meet the challenges of an ever-changing marketplace? Our panel of experts that includes Wayne Skiver, the founder of the Lester Dent Museum of Pulp History, Ron Fortier of Airship 27, and our own Pulp Bastard Bill Cunningham.
