Gateway To Venus is a band formed in 2004, when it was a Beatles-coverband (first they played as “The Ducks”). After a few concerts they took a long hiatus. After a while they continued playing, but they started to cover bands like Babyshambles and Libertines. In 2006 the drummer Edoardo Ascanio left the band and the band members asked their friend Marco Cancellieri to become their new drummer. After concerts in their school and parties Gateway To Venus reached a bit of popularity. The band changed name and became “Beverly Hills”, but the members didn't liked the name so much and changed it in "Gateway To Venus". The week after they took their first concert in a pub ("Kind Of Blue" the 2nd of june, 2008). The guitarist Filippo Bonamici dismissed the band and Alexandre Mauvais, one of the best friends of the band, became the new guitarist of Gateway To Venus. After Alexandre's entry in the band, they decided to write their own songs.
