A message to all blog talk friends and guests, I will primarily be conducting shows from Aware Talk Radio (ATR), blogtalkradio.com/awaretalkradio. For battling a physical opponent is easy. However, battling the self is a different story. Life by the spirit as Jesus spoke of is my basis. Shu Ha Ri meansThe three stages that one takes in the martial arts. From simple inmitation, to development of one's on style and personal development in the martial arts. The there stages represent the body, mind, and spirit, in Shu Ha Ri Legacy philosophy.It is my hope that everyone that I make contact with directly or indirectly can gain encouragement, and spiritual growth in a closer relationship with God. Everyone can be a part of the Shu Ha Ri Legacy. The truths of The Shu Ha Ri Legacy are universal. The most important point of what God has revealed to me is that you make the choice to master yourself under his will. If you believe that he is the creator then you know that you can never be led astray while following his will. Now, regarding self defense our training is for disciplining the mind and the body for self restraint. Which is one of the most poweful attributes a human could have. In the event (God forbid) that you need to use your training with the wisdom you acquire you will more than likely be justified. The goal is to never have to fight, to see the potential before it becomes reality and be humble enough to disengage.
