After a somber day of honoring the dead and wounded at Fort Hood, we must now spend a day honoring our veterans and enlisted personnel. Our nation owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to the men, women and families of the military. I am a proud veteran and salute my brothers and sisters in the services.
