Jane Friedman is the publisher and editorial director of the Writer’s Digest community, which includes the 90-year-old Writer’s Digest magazine, Writer’s Digest Books, and the Writer’s Market series. She’s also the author of the Beginning Writer’s Answer Book, blogs at There Are No Rules, and serves on the advisory board of Digital Book World, which recently launched an online community and an annual conference.
