As the clock struck midnight on September 30th, the U.S. Government officially "shut it down" (Dirk Nowitzki voice) leading to several questions about how this shutdown would affect all of us, civilians and government personnel.

On Tuesday, the military service academies used social media to inform the public that they were ceasing operations and that upcoming athletic contests were in jeopardy.
