Crazy Ranger is run by a 5-time Combat Vet from the 2nd Ranger Battalion and the wife who puts up with all of his crap. They approach common sense preparedness (no doomsday, no tinfoil hats) by regularly purchasing modest amounts of common, inexpensive items that are uniquely helpful when things become difficult.  They don't believe in wonder gadgets- just basic common sense, some creativity, and a whole lot of stick-to-it-iveness.
