Tuesday Morning, I will be meeting with Author and Business Owner, Steve Rosenbaum, who calls himself a "back end specialist". The creator of "Back End Blueprint", Steve trains more than 10,000 consultants and businesses world wide embracing his Back End Systems.Now obviously, you'll need to come to the show to find out exactly what that is and why it's so crucial for you in 2013.
If you're spending money on advertising, you'll want to be available for this call. The fact is that most of us do a great job of getting the word to the right people. What we don't do so well is harvesting those people that decide not to buy and evne those that only buy a small portion of the goods and services that we have to offer.
What we need to do a better job of is to build our back end processes so that we can capture more leads as well as re-insert buyers back into the buynig process. It is likely that we give up a substantial portion of business from lack of follow up as well as lack of systematic marketing in order to keep buyers with needs in our marketing funnel.
One other thing to think about is whether or not you have buyers that make purchases "up" in your processes. in other words, do you have customers that buy the low end but never move up to purchase higher priced products. This can be controlled if you are ready to invest the time in learning how to put them together.
Steven works in Austin Texas working with Small and Independent Business Owners implement these kinds of systems. He and I are kindred spirits when it comes to indepnedent business because he looks at the processes they're using and works to improve them. As an internet marketing consultant, he is definitely one of the few that really "get it" in my book..
