Lisa Sieben is the mother of three children, including her 22 year old son, Ian, whose diagnosis of Autism, other wise known as ASD or Austism Spectrum Disorder,  led her to advocacy for others with the same diagnosis. She is a past president and former board member of the Autism Society of Minnesota.  She is currently an events coordinator for AuSM, planning the upcoming Steps of Hope community walk and other awareness creating events for the Minnesota autism community.  In addition to her involvement with AuSM, she is also the Head of Delegation for the Special Olympics Minnesota Hastings Sharks.

AuSM is an affiliate of the Autism Society which improves the lives of all affected by autism through education, advocacy, services, research and support.  The Autism Society of Minnesota was founded in 1971.
